Ol' Billz Stuff is another western Montana based Etsy shop selling handmade creations made of antler (also called horn), bone and sea glass. Ol' Bill is the talented creator behind Ol' Billz Stuff and also a fellow social worker working hard to make a living by crafting and creating from home just like I am!
Ol' Bill makes a variety of natural creations like beautiful carved antler earrings, antler cribbage boards, elk horn handled walking sticks and lovely beach glass earrings made with beach glass found by his niece in Homer, Alaska! All of his antler creations are made from antlers found in Montana.
If you've read any of our Women in Hunting Series posts or posts about our antler hunting adventures, you've probably figured out I absolutely love antlers. When I first saw the carved antler hoop earrings Ol' Bill makes, I was in awe. I have never seen anything like them before. They are so simple, natural and beautiful!
The hoop earrings aren't just a simple slice of antler like some earrings I've seen. These earrings have the centers carved out and the edges are gently rounded which shows how much care is taken in making these beautiful earrings.
These have quickly become my favorite pair of earrings to wear. I wear a lot of natural toned clothing so these match most things I wear. When I've worn them in town on errands, I've had quite a few people compliment me on the earrings and a few people have even stopped me to look more closely at them!
Ol' Bill lives a little northwest of where we live up on the Flathead Indian Reservation. If you check out his Etsy shop header by clicking here you can see the breathtaking view he has of the mountains from his shop. I must say I'm a little jealous, the mountain behind our house isn't quite that spectacular and inspiring! No wonder he creates such beautiful, natural creations with inspiration like that right outside his door!
